Kentucky

We said farewell to the Irish Green of Notre Dame and made our way south to Louisville Kentucky.

The back tire on the Harley was in desperate need of attention so we dropped it off at the Harley shop in Louisville and our niece Danielle picked us up and took us back to their home in Crestwood Kentucky.

Unfortunately their house is not very comfortable, very cramped as it only has three stories, a six car garage and a complete apartment downstairs for us all set on an acre of beautiful Kentucky bluegrass!   All with no sprinklers!

They may never get rid of us!

Danielle is a true SoCal girl so she made us tacos for dinner!
We again slept till 10 am and Danielle then  took us for a beautiful drive through the Kentucky countryside ending up at the "Makers Mark" distillery in Loretto Ky.

We then grabbed  the kids and went to dinner at "Havana Rumba" a Cool Cuban restaurant. Caden and Nathan loved their Uncle Micky so much that they asked him to "please sit on us!"

We got up early on Saturday, 9:00 am! and went to Caden's OC Juniors (10-11 age) football game.
Kentucky football at its finest! They won 20-6, undefeated so far this year!

Then it was home for rides on the Harley!
All three of the kids enjoyed cruising rhe neighborhood!

We celebrated Caden's 11th birthday by having half of the Tiger Football Team over for an "Overnighter"! Brought back memories of when our boys were that age!

A blessed time with our family! Thank you so much Steve and Danielle! It was great spending time with ya'all!
